Last session of 2022/2023 CEsA Thinks will be held on February 8th on the effects of climate change on the food retail industry in Nigeria

Last session of 2022/2023 CEsA Thinks

The Centre for African and Development Studies (CEsA/CSG/ISEG/ULisboa) and ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), invite you to the last session of 2022/2023 CEsA Thinks – Seminars: “Effects of Climate Change on Businesses in Retail Food Industry and Responses in Nigeria” (presenter: Prof. Auta Elisha Menson, Kaduna State Universiry, Nigeria). The discussion will be led by Vincent Agulonye (CEsA/CSG/ISEG/ULisboa).

The session is open to the public and will take place on February 8, 2023, at 6 pm (Lisbon time), at ISEG (Room 104, Francesinhas 2), in Lisbon, and online via Zoom (access here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87919779125?pwd=cmtENi9lVWxRNjBCdHhXaDdCZ0lHUT09 Password: cesathinks).

About the presenter

Auta Elisha MensonDr Auta Elisha Menson is a Senior Lecturer, Department of Economics, Faculty od Social Sciences, Kaduna State University, Nigeria, and a researcher with Centre for Entrepreneurship and Development in the same institution. He holds a PhD in Economics with research interest in development and public policy. He has done extensive research on public policy and governance in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

About the discussant

Vincent Agulonye is a CEsA researcher (CSG/ISEG/ULisboa). He holds a PhD in Development Studies from ISEG, University of Lisbon.  At the moment, he is involved in studying development trends in Nigeria’s private sector (especially in the manufacturing industry) in Anambra.

 

 

CEsA Thinks 2023

The presentations aim to promote peer discussions on current research conducted by researchers in the field of Development, with the aim of generating contributions and criticism of the works presented. Organized by the CEsA researchers Vincent Agulonye and Daniel Adayi, the CEsA Thinks 2022 presentations are in English.
