| Nota biográfica | Desde 2006, Vincent trabalha no setor privado na Nigéria. Começou no setor de educação em 2006, onde desempenhou funções como professor de inglês no St. Mary’s College, Suleja, no Estado do Níger. Foi Chefe do Departamento de Inglês e Literatura, Coordenador do Clube de Imprensa, do Clube Literário, do Concurso de Quiz e Debate, e Editor da Revista da Escola. Foi Jornalista Estudantil entre 2004 e 2006 (onde atuou em várias funções, incluindo Secretário do Conselho, Editor Assistente e Editor-Chefe). Desempenhou funções como professor de língua inglesa durante o seu serviço nacional na cidade do extremo nordeste da Nigéria, Maiduguri. Começou a trabalhar na indústria de telecomunicações logo após sua missão nacional em 2009. Trabalhou para a maior empresa privada de telecomunicações na Nigéria, a MTN Nigeria em Kaduna e Kano. Em 2010, matriculou-se na pós-graduação em Educação no National Teachers Institute e Usmanu DanFodiyo University, programa de pós-graduação em Sokoto. Em 2011, matriculou-se na Pós-Graduação em Comunicação de Massa na Universidade Bayero, em Kano. Depois disso, realizou doutoramento em Estudos de Desenvolvimento do ISEG, da Universidade de Lisboa. Neste momento, está envolvido no estudo das tendências de desenvolvimento no setor privado da Nigéria (especialmente na indústria de manufatura) em Anambra. |

| Short Biography | Since 2006, Vincent has worked in the private sector in Nigeria. He started in the education sector in 2006 where he served as an English teacher at St. Mary’s College, Suleja, Niger State. He was Head of the English and Literature Department, Coordinator of the Press Club, Literary Club, Quiz and Debate Competition, and Editor of the School Magazine. He was a Student Journalist from 2004 to 2006 (where he served in various capacities, including Board Secretary, Assistant Editor and Editor-in-Chief). He served as an English language teacher during his national service in the far northeastern city of Nigeria, Maiduguri. He started working in the telecommunications industry soon after his national assignment in 2009. He worked for the largest private telecommunications company in Nigeria, MTN Nigeria in Kaduna and Kano. In 2010, he enrolled in graduate education at the National Teachers Institute and Usmanu DanFodiyo University, graduate program in Sokoto. In 2011, he enrolled in the Graduate Program in Mass Communication at Bayero University in Kano. After that, he pursued a PhD in Development Studies at ISEG, University of Lisbon. At the moment, he is involved in studying development trends in Nigeria’s private sector (especially in the manufacturing industry) in Anambra. |
