Associate Professor at the University of Brasilia (UnB), Brazil. He held Post-Doc at the University of Lisbon (Portugal) and at the University of Perugia (Italy). He holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate in Portuguese from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Brazil, with an emphasis on Comparative Literature. He has been working in the line of investigation of Dialectic Literary Criticism of the Graduate Program in Literature of the Department of Literary Theory and Literatures of the Institute of Languages of the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil, investigating mainly the following themes: historical novel; novel by Jorge Amado; romance and authoritarianism; romance and (de)colonization. He has published articles and book chapters, organized collections of essays, prepared events, as well as oriented students of Course Completion Work, Scientific Initiation, Masters and Doctorate.
