Leão Lopes  is an intellectual, artist (a degree in painting by Superior School of Fine Arts in Lisbon), script-writer, film director and university professor (PhD. by University of Rennes). Margarida Fontes was born in São Filipe, Island of Fogo on 30th of September 1975. She is a Capeverdian TV journalist and poet. She got a degree in Communication by Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. She works for the Capeverdian TV and was director of the institution. She is a journalist in the Information Department and produces cultural documentaries. She is the author of the documentary series Monumentos e Sítios (Monuments and Places) and produced and presented the series Claridade Incandescente (Incandescent Clarity) about modern literature in Cape Verde. In 2014 she published her first book of poetry De Lírios.
