«The aim of this seminar is to analyse the role of China and Japan’s toward Africa’s growth and development. In other words, students shall measure the main drivers for development and economic growth in one or two African countries. The question is whether the South’s trade, capital flows and/or aid dynamism is largely due to China or to Japan or to both.
